Rewarding Excellence X 3: Community Law Program and Executive Director Kimberly Rodgers Honored with Three Prestigious Awards!

Under the exceptional leadership of Executive Director Kimberly Rodgers, the Community Law Program (CLP) in Pinellas County has been making a remarkable difference in the lives of individuals and families in need for a long time. With a steadfast commitment to fairness, equity, and protecting client rights, Kimberly Rodgers has guided CLP since 2004, leaving a lasting mark on her community. At the recent Florida Bar Annual Convention in Boca Raton, Kimberly Rodgers and CLP were honored with not one, but three prestigious awards: The Jane Elizabeth Curran Distinguished Service Award, the Stetson Lawyers Association Distinguished Alumnus Award, and the L. Jane Elizabeth Curran Distinguished Service Award
Kimberly Rodgers has been awarded the esteemed Jane Elizabeth Curran Distinguished Service Award for her exceptional leadership for nearly 20 years.  As the Executive Director of the Community Law Program (CLP) in Pinellas County, her tireless efforts on behalf of the indigent community, visionary guidance, and commitment to service to the community have made a lasting impact. When the Florida Bar Foundation established the Jane Elizabeth Curran Distinguished Service Award, Jane Elizabeth Curran was the first to receive it. This was in recognition of her contributions to the Foundation, the national IOLTA movement, and access to justice statewide and nationally, during her 32 years as the organization’s founding executive director. Stetson Lawyers Association Distinguished Alumnus Award
The Stetson Lawyers Association presented Executive Director Kimberly Rodgers with the Distinguished Alumnus Award. The award honors alumni who excel in their chosen profession and in their service to humanity. She earned a law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1998 and has dedicated nearly two decades to advocating for individuals who lack access to legal representation while exhibiting unwavering passion and tireless efforts in serving the community’s most vulnerable citizens. Her remarkable commitment to providing legal assistance to underserved populations highlights her dedication and the positive change she has brought to countless lives. L. Michael Roffino Pro Bono Award from the Solo & Small Firm Section of The Florida Bar
CLP received the prestigious L. Michael Roffino Pro Bono Award from the Solo & Small Firm Section of The Florida Bar. This award specifically commends CLP’s outstanding Landlord-Tenant Mediation Program for Seniors. The program offers critical support to vulnerable seniors facing eviction or struggling to address necessary repairs with their landlords. Through legal assistance and mediation services, CLP ensures that seniors’ housing rights are protected, allowing them to maintain stability and dignity in their golden years.
