What is Available for Paralegals and Paralegal  Students?

What is Available for Law Students?

The Community Law Program has several opportunities that law students can participate in to fulfill their pro bono requirements.  These opportunities include:

  •         Assisting in clinic operations and client intake
  •         Helping clients complete forms needed to facilitate their consultation with an attorney
  •         Helping clients complete family law forms under the supervision of an attorney
  •         Assisting with special projects and/or doing legal research for staff attorneys or volunteer attorneys doing pro bono work

CLP also offers periodic opportunities to fulfill the non-legal pro bono requirement, such as helping out in the days leading up to an event and/or at the event, assisting with clerical duties around the office, and/or with specific short-term projects.
